First, welcome!
Â
The Bisbee Hermitage is a cozy retreat—it isn’t a cookie-cutter hotel room—it is Bisbee, after all! We hope that if anything is lacking, our heartfelt hospitality will compensate, and we welcome your suggestions…

Third, PARKING...
*** PLEASE NOTE, WE RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO STAY ANY WEEKEND NIGHTS, THAT YOU ARRIVE BY MID-DAY ON THURSDAY OR FRIDAY TO SECURE A PARKING SPOT CLOSE TO THE PROPERTY. Bisbee has events nearly every weekend and parking can get scarce staring on Friday afternoons.

Step 1. When you arrive via Old Hwy 80 from North or South, you'll exit and enter on "NACO Rd", (South Entrance to Old Bisbee Shown here) or else, you've entered Bisbee by exiting Old Hwy 80 onto Tombstone Canyon Rd (North Entrance), which, as you head south through town turns into Main St and then NACO Rd.

Step 2. Turn up OK ST from Naco Rd.

Step 3. Here, at this fork in the road, you see the walkway and stairs that lead up to our Hermitage -- they start just beneath the HOTEL sign and window on the brick wall to the right. You can temporarily pull to the side of the road in front of the stairs to unload your luggage and bring it up to the property. But if you do this, be sure you do not block traffic and return to park your car in the Gulch as soon as you can.
GUEST PARKING SPACES are down the road (and down the hill) to the left, driving past the Bisbee Brewery to park in the "Gulch" where you'll see bars and such.

Here you see the steps. The adjacent & EMPTY LOT IS PRIVATE PROPERTY AND NOT FOR OUR GUESTS.
Once you park your car, come back up and climb the stairs, turning right to walk in front of the Loretta Lynne mural you see here.
Step 4. At the next landing, you will turn left and take the next set of stairs up to the gate for the Courtyard Entrance to the Hermitage on the left side at the top. You will see the sign "43 B OK ST" as shown below.
Step 5. Enter your 4 digit code, which should be the last four digits of your phone number, to open the black lock box under the video-doorbell. The keys are inside.
The key shaped like a house is for the front gate;
The key shaped like a dog is for the deadbolt lock on either the kitchen door (upstairs) or the bedroom door (downstairs).
Fourth, a few notes and pointers:
·    We haven’t a dishwasher right now, we apologize for that, we are working on it -- getting someone to lug a dishwasher up 62 steps has proven a challenge!
Â
·    Yes, 62 steps not to mention the flight to our second floor- consider it aerobic steps!
Â
·    Tea towels hanging in the basket on the kitchen window.
Â
·    Dishes and glassware are kept in the cupboard on the left. Table silver is in the drawer to the left of the cooking range.
Â
·    We ask there be no open flames (candles, smoking, etc.), we are in the desert and fire is always a concern.
Â
·    A coffee set up is on the counter, mugs above, extra coffee and tea options in the center cupboard.
Â
·    Toaster, pots and pans, etc., can be found under the counters.
Â
·    Towels are in the bathroom on the shelves. Extra blankets are stashed in the cubicle shelf.
Â
·    The closed door is private storage, thank you for respecting that.
Â
Bisbee is a wonderful town to saunter about and explore, from antique shopping, art gallery hopping, pub crawls, and fine dining, casual and fine. Everything we recommend here is within a 10-minute walk from here.
Â
Â
PLACES TO EAT…
Â
For dining, we heartily recommend The Table -- about a 5 minute walk away – frankly, it’s our kitchen away from home, we dine there so frequently.
Â
Copper Queen Plaza, 2 Main St,
520 432-6788
Â
Also heartily recommended is Le Cornucopia Café, wonderful homemade daily soups (the chef, a soup master), delicious fresh breads, and irresistible pies - remember vacation calories don’t count.
Â
14 Main St, Bisbee
Â
A bit fancier, Café Roka, while not tie and jacket, the fine dining deserves something a bit nicer than Bisbee board shorts.
Â
35 Main Street,
520-432-5153
Â
For live music and wonderful cocktails (and grilled cheese sandwiches), we recommend Gene’s Place down the hill.
Â
24 Brewery Ave.
Â
The Mexican Food at Taqueria Outlaw is delicious and creatively inspired – the refried beans have Cajun seasoning mixed in, as one example.
